| SGTY: This is a kind of more serious, "don't worry, be happy" song. The fact that people could worry so much about pointless things that it could get to a level where it takes over their life. It is a very scary thought if all you can do is worry about nothing. So this song is almost a kind of warning against it. We can worry only so much untill it turns into despair, and then we're in trouble. | |

It is safe to say that we will all have relationships with people, some will last longer than others and some won't last at all, but we just don't know. There is gonna be one relationship though that is really gonna mean something and your just gonna know its right. This song is about the time before that, and how you have to have faith, and all that good stuff.... | |
| Side By Side: This song was inspired by a good friend of mine who had nothing but bad luck for a while in love. It wasn't all that good of a situation, so I wrote this about not giving up, and no matter how long the road might be, as long as your not alone, you can make it. It's about how we can't give up on love, cause if we do, we are left with nothing at all. It's also about the reassurance that everything will be alright, no matter how bad it may seem, and that things can always be worse. | |

| Just Me: When I was writting the words and the music to this song I had this great feeling of, helplessness, you could say. The fact that someone who needed a hand in getting through some stuff and wouldn't let me help for some reason still unknown to me. So the words "Just me" take on a few different meanings: "Just me" in the sense that there is no one you should be afraid of. "Just me" meaning I'm only one person, so how much can I really do? The last meaning of "Just me" is the plain fact that it was just me, in the sense of being alone. That is the overall feeling of the song, a let me help you kinda thing.... | |
| Damn Far: This is a song that we wrote in the band. The lyrics for this song were not written by myself; actually, they were written by my good friend Mark. He wrote them in Frank's basement about 5 minutes after we wrote the music for the song. We swear to this day the music for the song was divinely inspired, we just started plaing it that day, it sounded good and we kept it. The song itself is about a road trip that we haven't taken quite yet, but who knows what this summer might hold... | |
| Once Again: This is a song that I wrote and brought to the band the day before what was to be our first show, so we practiced the hell out of it for the whole day, and then with our luck it began to snow (it was only rain!) comment by Dave the day of the show, and the show was cancelled. However we did get a good song out of the deal, and probably one of my favorites to play with the guys. The lyrics are about renewing a friendship with someone that for one reason or another I lost contact with. The joy of becoming good friends again with the person is so great, it inspired a song. So thats the story behind that one... | |
